F&O total turnover stood at Rs 7,00,26,785.76 crore on May 05

Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 7,00,26,785.76 crore on May 05 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 45,10,08,754.

Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 16,796.39 crore, Stock Futures Rs 71,714.11 crore and Index Options Rs 6,95,87,587.10 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 3,50,688.16 crore.

For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood at 0.89, while the Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.89and that of Stock Options was 0.48.
