NTPC has successfully completed trial run operation of Unit-2 (800 MW) of Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam (PVUNL), a subsidiary of the company, and consequently included in the installed capacity of NTPC. With this, the total installed capacity of NTPC group stands at 90,668 MW.

NTPC is the flagship company of the NTPC Group. It is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
