JSW Steel’s crude steel production in October, 2013 increased by 39% and stood at 10.62 lakh tonnes against 7.62 lakh tonnes in October, 2012. The production of rolled products (flat) increased by 96% to 8.67 lakh tonnes compared to 4.42 lakh tonnes in October last year. However, the production of rolled products (long) during the month declined by 10% at 1.49 lakh tonnes as compared to 1.65 lakh tonnes in October, 2012.
