UltraTech Cement has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company, based on the recommendation of the Nomination, Remuneration and Compensation Committee, has considered and approved the appointment of Vikram Bhalla as an independent director of the Company with effect from 8th June, 2026 for a period of five years, subject to the approval of the Members of the Company. Vikram Bhalla is a senior partner and a founding team member of the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) India, with nearly 30 years of advisory experience spanning strategy, transformation, people and organization, and family business transformation. He has deep expertise in strategic planning and evaluation of complex business decisions across several industries and geographies. Bhalla is independent of the Company's management and is not debarred from holding the office of director by virtue of any order passed by the Securities and Exchange Board of India or any other such authorities.
