Grasim Industries has informed that this is in continuation to the corporate announcement dated 30th October 2020 and 19th June 2023 wherein the Company had informed regarding execution of Agreements with Lubrizol Manufacturing India for production of Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) resin in India and construction of the first phase of the world’s largest single-site state-of-the-art 100,000 metric tonne CPVC resin facility in Vilayat, Gujarat, respectively. With regard to the above, Phase 1 of the CPVC Resin manufacturing Plant with planned capacity of approximately 50,000 metric tonnes per annum has been inaugurated today. The commencement of the commercial production at this Plant, in due course.
