Adani Enterprises’ defence and aerospace arm -- Adani Defence & Aerospace is investing Rs 2,500 crore in project in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh (MP), to establish South Asia's largest private sector missile ecosystem. The advanced missile ecosystem with composite propellant and Trinitrotoluene (TNT) production at a single location, will create an at-scale capability that is a first for India's private sector.

The investment will generate 5,000 direct and indirect skilled jobs, create new opportunities for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and reinforce the emergence of MP as a leading defence hub. The Shivpuri project closes a long-standing gap in India's defence supply chain by bringing system integration together with the production of critical materials, enabling the Indian Armed Forces to induct indigenous missile systems at scale.
