Power Grid Corporation Of India Ltd.

Power Grid Corporation of India has been declared as successful bidder under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding to establish Inter-State Transmission System for the project namely ‘Transmission System for integration of Krishnagiri REZ Phase-I’ on Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis. The Letter of Intent (LoI) has been received by Powergrid on July 10, 2026.

The project comprises establishment of 2 new 765/400kV Sub-stations in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Further, the project involves construction of 765kV & 400kV transmission lines traversing through the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana & Karnataka along with associated bays.
