Power Grid Corporation of India (POWERGRID) has been declared as successful bidder under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding to establish Inter-State Transmission System for the project namely ‘Installation of 2 Nos. of Synchronous Condensers (SynCon) units at 765/400/220kV Fatehgarh-II PS’ on Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis. The Letter of Intent (LoI) has been received by POWERGRID on July 17, 2026.

The project comprises installation & commissioning of 2 number of Synchronous Condensers (SynCon) at Fatehgarh-II PS along with associated bays.
