FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per July 23 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14113.71 crore against gross selling of Rs 13787.52 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 326.19 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 6535.99 crore with gross sales of Rs 5213.18 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1322.81 crore in debt.

Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 3208.61 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 3309.35 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1423.55 crore.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 9.15 crore against gross selling of Rs 24.41 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 15.26 crore in hybrid segment.
