FIIs net sellers of Rs 252.91 crore in futures and options segments on November 29

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 252.91 crore in futures and options segments on Tuesday, November 29, 2011.

FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 245.47 crore and they sold index options worth Rs 781.00 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 266.01 crore and they also bought stock options to the tune of Rs 16.61 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on November 29, 2011 is 38.98%.
