ICICI Bank, the largest private sector lender in the country has reportedly organized the Coin Exchange Mela in Uttar Pradesh (UP) to offer a free facility of exchanging currency notes with coins to the general public. This Coin Mela was organized at its Mohalla Chhavani, Civil Lines branch in Moradabad in UP under the guidance of the Reserve Bank of India.

ICICI Bank is India's largest private sector bank and the second largest bank in the country, with consolidated total assets of $122 billion at December 31, 2012. The Bank’s presence currently spans 19 countries, including India.
