NTPC has been awarded for Excellence in Corporate Governance at the India Pride Award function held in New Delhi recently. The Award was received by the company from Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Planning in the presence of Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Processing and other dignitaries.

NTPC is the largest power generating company in the country. It has also diversified into hydro power, coal mining, power equipment manufacturing, oil & gas exploration, power trading & distribution.
