Eicher Motors and Volvo Group’s joint venture firm, VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has reported 30.38% decline in total sales of Eicher branded products to 2,807 units in December 2013. The company had sold 4,032 units in the same month of the previous year.
The company’s domestic sales stood at 2,372 units in December 2013 as against 3,598 units in the year-ago period, down 34%.
On the exports front, Eicher trucks and buses recorded sales of 435 units in December 2013 as compared to 434 units in the same month of the previous year.
