M&M hikes commercial vehicle prices from Jan 1

Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) has hiked commercial vehicle prices by Rs 1500-9000 with effect from January 1, 2014. The company has also raised its passenger vehicle prices by Rs 1500-10,500 effective from Jan 1.

Recently, the company reported auto sales numbers which stood at 39,611 units during December 2013. The Passenger Vehicles segment which includes UVs and Verito sold 16,436 units in December 2013, as against 22,761 units during December 2012.
