Physical rubber prices declined on Tuesday

Physical rubber prices declined on Tuesday on buyer resistance due to extremely dull volumes in the market following declines in the international trendsetters.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 159.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 160/ kg, while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 151/ kg compared to its previous close of Rs 152/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of January delivery dropped to Rs 159.52 compared to its previous closing of Rs 159.97, while February delivery closed at Rs 162.49 compared to its previous close of Rs 162.54 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
