NIIT Technologies added four new clients during the third quarter, one each in BFSI, Travel & Transportation, Manufacturing and Government segment. In total fresh orders of $377 million were secured during the quarter leading to an order book executable over 12 months of $265 million. The total headcount stood at 8,160 at the end of the quarter under review.

NIIT Technologies is a leading IT solutions organization, servicing customers in North America, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia. It offers services in application development and maintenance, managed services, IP Asset or platform solutions, and business process outsourcing to organizations in the financial services, travel & transportation, manufacturing/distribution, healthcare and government sectors.

The company has reported 19.56% fall in its net profit at Rs 39.62 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2013 as compared to Rs 49.26 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has increased by 14.87% at Rs 328.35 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 286.55 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2012.
