M&M to expand its plant at Zaheerabad in Andhra to manufacture LCVs

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is planning to expand its plant at Zaheerabad in Andhra Pradesh to manufacture light commercial vehicles (LCVs). In this regard, the company will invest Rs 250 crore.

The company has also approached the government seeking sops as the existing plant will be expanded to make four wheeler sub-one ton light commercial and passenger vehicles with a capacity of 92,000 vehicles per year. Moreover, the government said it would allow incentives based on certain conditions.
