NTPC, the largest power generator in the country is reportedly planning to commission a 10-MW solar photo voltaic (PV) power project close to the Ramagundam super thermal power project in Karimnagar district of Andhra Pradesh. The company is also planning to set up solar PV units in various locations across the country, mostly close to the existing thermal power plants.
