NTPC’s 10 MW Solar PV Power Station Phase-I at Ramagundam has been declared on commercial operation with effect from January 29, 2014. With this the total capacity of non-conventional energy projects of NTPC has become 20 MW and the total commercial capacity of NTPC Group becomes 40,304 MW.

NTPC is the largest power generating company in the country. It has also diversified into hydro power, coal mining, power equipment manufacturing, oil & gas exploration, power trading & distribution.
