Container Corporation of India has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2013.

The company has reported 5.49% rise in its net profit at Rs 249.57 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 236.58 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income from operations of the company increased by 13.82% at Rs 1328.04 crore for quarter under review, as compared to Rs 1166.82 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2012.

Container Corporation of India is engaged in the business of transportation through containerization and it is the market leader having the largest network of 59 ICDs/CFSs in India.
