Amit Spinning Industries declares lock out in yarn manufacturing unit at Maharashtra

Amit Spinning Industries has declared a lock out in yarn manufacturing unit located at Kolhapur, Maharashtra due to labour unrest. However, to bring the things in to normal conditions the discussions are on between the management and the labour union.

Amit Spinning Industries (ASIL) is an India-based company and is engaged in the manufacture of cotton yarn. The company’s manufacturing plant is located at Kolhapur, Maharashtra. ASIL has been accorded the 100% Export Oriented Unit (EOU) status by the Government of India.
