Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd.

Tata Cummins, a joint venture (JV) between Tata Motors and Cummins Engine Company has opened its third manufacturing facility for producing diesel engines at Phaltan in Maharashtra. The machining lines at the new plant will initially produce 15,000 L series engines per year. The plant is designed to produce 45,000 and 120,000 units of the L and B series engines respectively, when operating at full capacity.
