Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd.

Tata Cummins, a joint venture between Tata Motors and Cummins Inc, inaugurated its third manufacturing facility located at the Cummins Megasite in Phaltan to manufacture diesel engines.

The facility, which is the eighth plant to open at the megasite, will build the ISL and QSL 8.9 litre engines to cater to the global power generation, industrial and automotive markets.

Tata Motors is India's largest automobile company, is the leader in commercial vehicles in each segment, and among the top in passenger vehicles with winning products in the compact, midsize car and utility vehicle segments. It is also the world's fourth largest truck and bus manufacturer.
