44.95 (1.20%) L&T has bagged a contract from National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) to build a new four-lane bridge across Narmada river at Zadeshwar about 90 km away from Vadodara. The project is scheduled to be completed in 38 months. The total cost of the project, including construction of the bridge is Rs 379 crore.
The entire project approved by the cabinet committee on economic affairs includes six laning of the Vadodra-Surat section of National Highway-8 including construction of a new four lane extra dosed bridge across the Narmada River and two eight lane flyovers from Jhagadia and Bharuch city under the NHDP Phase V.
