Date: 05-03-2014Eicher Motors and Volvo Group’s joint venture firm, VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has reported 23% decline in total sales of Eicher branded products to 2,840 units in February 2014. The company had sold 3,690 units in the same month of the previous year.
The company’s domestic sales stood at 2,531 units in February 2014 as against 3,538 units in the year-ago period, down by 28.50%.
On the exports front, Eicher trucks and buses recorded sales of 309 units in February 2014 as compared to 152 units in the same month of the previous year.
