Eicher Motors and Volvo Group’s joint venture firm, VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has reported 12% fall in total sales of Eicher branded products to 4,366 units in March 2014. The company had sold 4,962 units in the same month of the previous year.

The company’s domestic sales stood at 3,839 units in March 2014 as against 4,760 units in the year-ago period, down by 19.34%. On the exports front, Eicher trucks and buses recorded sales of 527 units in March 2014 as compared to 202 units in the same month of the previous year.

For the fiscal 2013-14, the company's totals sales were at 9,814 units as compared to 12,388 units in the previous fiscal, down 20.77%.
