A disciplined philosophy

Q-A-R-P

Quality at Reasonable Price.

A promising company is only the beginning. We examine the durability of its business, the integrity of its leadership and the price the market asks us to pay.

01

Enduring quality

We seek businesses with healthy returns on capital, durable advantages, sound cash flows and trustworthy management.

02

Valuation discipline

Our in-house equity research team provides valuation guidance, which is rigorously debated and reviewed by the Investment Committee before informing buy, hold and sell decisions.

03

Patient ownership

When the business case remains strong, time becomes an ally. We avoid activity that adds motion without adding value.

Research translated into action

Four decisions. One coherent process.

Our stock-investing process has been refined over 15+ years and includes multiple layers of risk management. It guides every recommendation—not market noise or individual opinion. While not every stock will perform as expected, disciplined portfolio management keeps us focused on returns that support your long-term goals.

Questions

Before the first conversation.

How many stocks will my portfolio contain?

A diversified Omega direct-stock portfolio will generally hold approximately 25 companies. The exact number and allocation can vary according to your circumstances, portfolio size and existing investments.

Do you recommend only large-cap companies?

No. The portfolio can combine resilient established companies with selected mid- and small-sized businesses. Each company must meet the quality, valuation and portfolio-role requirements relevant to its category.

How long do you hold a stock?

We invest with a long-term perspective. A Core holding may remain in the portfolio while its business strength and investment case remain intact. A recommendation may change if fundamentals deteriorate, valuation becomes materially unattractive or a stronger opportunity warrants reallocating capital.

Do you frequently buy and sell?

No. The portfolio is actively monitored but not churned for the sake of activity. Changes are recommended only when supported by business fundamentals, valuation or portfolio considerations.

Can Omega review my existing stocks?

Yes. Your existing holdings can be assessed for quality, valuation, concentration, duplication and their relevance to your goals before a transition plan is considered.

Are returns guaranteed?

No. Equity investments are exposed to market and business risks, and returns cannot be guaranteed. Omega’s process is designed to support informed, disciplined decisions—not eliminate investment risk.
