Physical rubber prices ruled flat on Friday as there were no genuine buyers in markets.
Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed unchanged at Rs 148/ kg and Rs 144/ kg respectively.
In the futures market, contract of April delivery improved to Rs 145.40 compared to its previous closing of Rs 145.18, while May delivery closed at Rs 149.28 compared to its previous close of Rs 149.25 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
