Sterlite Technologies’ arm adopts ‘WRENCH’ on three projects

Sterlite Technologies’ wholly owned subsidiary - Sterlite Grid, in a bid to manage engineering data and processes, is the latest to adopt ‘WRENCH’ on at least three upcoming power projects. The company will be implementing WRENCH across the East-North Interconnection (ENICL), the Bhopal-Dhule Transmission (BDTCL), and the Jabalpur Transmission (JTCL) which are collectively valued at Rs 4,000 crore.

These projects were awarded to the company on a Build Own Operate Maintain (BOOM) basis i.e. inclusive of designing, financing and construction and maintenance for concession periods ranging from 25 to 35 years, and will evacuate and transmit power through a network of about 2200 km of transmission lines and 2 substations in the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Bihar and Assam.
