Commercial Engineers & Body Builders Company (CEBBCO) is planning to lay-off part of its work force relating to one of its production facility situated at Village Imlai, Panagar, Jabalpur effective from May 01, 2014; due to absence of sufficient orders from its customers arising out of poor demand in Commercial Vehicle/wagon industry. This is a temporary feature and Company expects improvement in demand.
CEBBCO is engaged in the business of manufacturing vehicle bodies for the commercial vehicles industry for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) engaged in the production of Fully Built Vehicles (FBVs). The company has also has forged long-standing relationships with OEMs such as Tata Motors and the Ministry of Defense as well as with corporate groups deploying significant private fleets of vehicles such as Reliance Petroleum, Reliance Industries and Som Datt Builders.
