Chana futures traded up on NCDEX as speculators increased their holdings after demand picked up in the spot market. Further, tight supplies from the major producing regions too supported the commodity prices uptrend.
The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 3070.00, up by 0.82% or Rs 25.00 from its previous closing of Rs 3045.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 71850 lots.
The contract for June delivery was trading at Rs 3134.00, up by 0.77% or Rs 24.00 from its previous closing of Rs 3110.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 91850 lots on NCDEX.
