Greenply Industries has incorporated Greenply Alkemal (Singapore), a joint venture company of Greenply Industries, India and Alkemal Singapore, Singapore, as a private limited company in Singapore on May 14, 2014.
The said joint venture company (JVC) is equally owned (50:50 investments owned directly or through subsidiary/affiliates) by the company and Alkemal Singapore. The JVC subject to necessary regulatory approvals, acquire and own 100% share of Greenply Industries (Myanmar) which was incorporated as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Greenply Industries for setting-up of a Veneer or Veneer-cum-Plywood Unit in Myanmar.
Greenply Industries is engaged in manufacturing of plywood, laminates, decorative veneers, particle boards and prelam particle boards/MDF. The company has 28 branches across India with a strong dealer/distributor/sub-dealer/retailer network of over 9600 and a presence in over 300 cities.
