Cupid shoots up as newly developed product receives good response in international market

Cupid is currently trading at Rs. 5.00, up by 0.41 points or 8.93% from its previous closing of Rs. 4.59 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 4.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 5.00 and Rs. 4.80 respectively.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 10.25 on 08-Apr-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 4.39 on 09-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 5.33 and Rs. 4.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4.41 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 44.46% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.04% and 55.50% respectively. 

Cupid’s newly developed female condom has been well accepted in the international market and the company so far has been receiving continuous order for female condom from new customer as well as existing customers from all around world.

Company is continuously engaged in the research and development of new version of contraceptives including female condoms. The Company has also been admitted to the membership of organization called 'Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition' based in Belgium. The Organisation is engaged in efforts to ensure that people in low and middle income countries can obtain, choose and use high quality reproductive health supplies.

Cupid manufactures and markets varieties of male and female condoms, water based lubricant, latex dental dams and probe covers. Cupid has a diverse product basket available in over 25 countries worldwide.
