Bharti Airtel surges on extending 4G services operation in Ludhiana

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 339.00, up by 6.75 points or 2.03% from its previous closing of Rs. 332.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 335.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 344.00 and Rs. 332.00 respectively. So far 299791 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A ' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 373.50 on 01-Nov-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 274.50 on 11-Jun-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 344.15 and Rs. 310.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 135831.66 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 65.32% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.17% and 10.51% respectively.

Bharti Airtel has extended its 4G service operations to Punjab's Ludhiana city. The customers can browse Internet over dongles, mobile devices (including Apple iPhone 5S and 5C), and Wi-Fi routers or customer premise equipment. Now, Ludhiana has become India's fifth city to have 4G services.

Earlier, the company had launched 4G services on mobile in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula under the Punjab circle.
