A euphoric Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Vinay Katiyar, gave enough indications that his party will pursue its pet project of reconstructing Ram Temple awaiting Supreme Court's verdict. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader expressed his faith on the Supreme Court giving a positive ruling on the lines of the High Court.

Vinay Katiyar said that the Government might take up the matter sooner as the case is in the court. He hoped that they will get justice as the High Court in its verdict had already claimed that there was existence of Ram Temple in the disputed site, and believed the Supreme Court will also follow the same.

BJP in its 2014 Lok Sabha manifesto had made a cosmetic mention of its promise to re-construct a Ram Temple in Ayodhya, it stated 'BJP reiterates its stand to explore all possibilities within the framework of the constitution to facilitate the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya'.
