According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 24.55 crore in futures and options segments on Friday, December 23, 2011.
FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 78.96 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 3.75 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 101.24 crore and they also sold stock options to the tune of Rs 6.02 crore.
