Siemens receives order from BHEL for supply of gear units: Report

Siemens Drive Technologies Division has reportedly received order from Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) for supply of large gear units and gear components for vertical mills for coal grinding. The supply to BHEL is to cover the overall demand for the next three years. The value of the order is in the (Euro) double-digit million range.

Siemens is the flagship listed company of Siemens AG in India and is a major player in the electronics and electrical engineering business. Germany’s Siemens AG holds a 75 per cent stake in the company.
