Bharti Airtel gains as RBI increases FII limit in to 74%

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 339.55, up by 2.20 points or 0.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 337.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 341.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 345.20 and Rs. 337.50 respectively. So far 260427 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A ' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 373.50 on 01-Nov-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 279.25 on 28-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 345.20 and Rs. 329.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 135831.66 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 65.32% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.17% and 10.51% respectively.

Reserve Bank of India has increased the limit of investments by Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs)/Registered foreign portfolio investors in Bharti Airtel to 74% of the company’s paid-up capital. The company has already passed resolutions at its Board of Directors’ level and a special resolution by the shareholders, agreeing for enhancing the limit for the purchase of its equity shares and convertible debentures by FIIs.
