Members of the Aam Aadmi Partty (AAP) including Arvind Kejriwal met President Pranab Mukherjee and requested him to dissolve the Delhi Assembly and urged for fresh polls in the capital. The party submitted a memorandum to the President and also said that the BJP had approached many members of the AAP in the past few days.

Kejriwal said that the BJP is luring our leaders with ministerial berths, properties and had even been offering cash between Rs 10 crore to 20 crore. When the leaders did not accept the offer, some BJP members threatened them.

Kejriwal then hit out at the NDA government over the current price rise and said that the BJP was scared of conducting elections in the capital fearing that the people won't vote for them owing to the price rise that they are facing currently and in the last one month, however, the hopes of the people have been shattered because the prices of almost all the commodities have increased. No steps have been taken to check corruption.
