FIIs stood as net sellers in equities on December 30, 2011: SEBI

The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net sellers in equities while they were net buyers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 1497.90 crore against gross sell of Rs 2114.80 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 616.90 crore in equities on December 30, 2011.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1466.90 crore with gross sales of Rs 1429.40 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 37.50 crore in debt on December 30, 2011.
