JSW Steel has reported Crude Steel production for Q1 FY 2014-15, at 3.10 million tonnes showing a growth of 8%. The production of rolled products (flat) increased by 9% to 2.43 lakh tonnes in Q1 FY ’15. The production of rolled products (long) has increased by 16% at 0.52 lakh tonnes in Q1 FY ’15.
JSW Steel is part of the JSW group which, in turn, is a part of the O P Jindal group. JSW Steel is one of the largest steel manufacturing companies in India having units in Karnataka and Maharashtra producing crude steel, long steel and flat steel products.
