Physical rubber prices declined on Monday

Physical rubber prices declined on Monday due to buyer resistance in the markets.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 142/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 142.50/ kg, while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 134/ kg compared to its previous close of Rs 135/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of July delivery improved to Rs 141.99 compared to its previous closing of Rs 140.03, while August delivery closed at Rs 141.50 compared to its previous close of Rs 142.03 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
