Physical rubber prices declined on Wednesday due to lack of buyers from the major consuming industries as they were comfortable with their imports.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 141/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 142/ kg, while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 133.50 / kg compared to its previous close of Rs 134/ kg.
In the futures market, contract of August delivery surrendered to Rs 139.80 compared to its previous close of Rs 141.26 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
