Cyient has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2014.
The company’s net profit for the quarter decreased by 37.88% at Rs 54.27 crore as compared to Rs 87.37 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013. Howver, its total income from operations has increased by 10.43% to Rs 313.15 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 283.57 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 26.15% rise in its net profit at Rs 68.51 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 54.31 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income from operations has increased by 28.47% at Rs 621.70 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 483.93 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013.
