Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) is planning to set up five new logistic parks which will cater to both domestic and international needs. The logistic parks are being planned at Krishnapatnam, Kakinada and Machilipatnam in Andhra Pradesh, whereas in Telangana it will be set up at Karimnagar and Patancheru on the outskirts of Hyderabad in the near future.
The investment is expected to be around Rs 100 crore each for the logistic parks at Patancheru in Hyderabad, Kakinada and Krishnapatnam, it is expected to be around Rs 40 to 50 crore for the one in Karimnagar.
CONCOR was established in 1988 and works mainly in three verticals -- cargo terminal, terminal operator and warehouse operator.
