NBCC advances on securing orders worth Rs 2065 crore in Q1FY15

National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) is currently trading at Rs. 467.95, up by 33.80 points or 7.79 % from its previous closing of Rs. 434.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 433.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 472.50 and Rs.  426.00 respectively. So far 3,02,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B ' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 486.90 on 08-Jul-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 96.00 on 02-Aug-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 475.00 and Rs. 424.50respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5,615.40 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 90.00 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.02 % and 7.98% respectively.

National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC), state owned construction major, has secured work order of Rs 2,067 crore in first quarter of this fiscal, well above the targeted MoU of Rs 1,250 crore signed with the Government. The annual MoU of NBCC with the Government in respect of the order book target has been fixed at Rs 5,000 crore for the company during FY 2014-15.

National Buildings Construction Corporation is one of the few public sector companies engaged in the business of project management consultancy services for civil construction projects (PMC), civil infrastructure for power sector and real estate development.
