According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 252.90 crore in futures and options segments on Wednesday, January 04, 2012.
FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 148.96 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 332.62 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 52.46 crore and they also bought stock options to the tune of Rs 16.78 crore.
Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on January 04, 2012 is 32.66%.
