Physical rubber once again went into consolidation mood on Wednesday and ended flat as the trading activities remained dull in the mandis, while the future prices too declined and restricted any upmove in the spot prices.
Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety remained unchanged at Rs 195/kg and Rs 190/kg respectively.
In the futures market, the contract of RSS-4 for January delivery declined to Rs 195.42 compared to its previous closing of Rs 199.03, while the contract for February delivery closed at Rs 198 compared to its previous closing of Rs 202.08 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
