Nestle reports 6% rise in Q2 net profit

Nestle India has reported results for second quarter ended June 30, 2014.

The company has reported 6.07% rise in its net profit at Rs 287.86 crore as compared to Rs 271.38 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013. Its total income has increased by 9.69% to Rs 2455.09 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 2238.11 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Nestle India has its presence in India for around nine decades, making it one of the oldest company in India. Nestle has created brands like Nestle Milkmaid, Nestle Everyday, Maggi Noodles, Maggi Soups, Polo, Kit Kat, Nescafe and many more.
