FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 08 data: NSDL

08 Aug 2014 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 4658.27 crore against gross sell of Rs 2699.33 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1958.94 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 376.56 crore with gross sales of Rs 1075.63 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 699.07 crore in debt.
